JOB/Side Gig :  CYCLING GUIDE
with Pioneer Valley Food tours a local food tour company
Looking for bicycle tour guides for 3-4 events during the 2024 Summer/Fall season.  Our guides work in pairs and lead small groups (max. 12 guests) on easy-intermediate routes of 20-30 miles.  All tours are scheduled for Saturday or Sunday.  Guides will lead the ride, moderate the pace, look after guests, enjoy the ride and communicate any urgent needs to the support car. All food and beverages, supplies, bike routes and booking arranged by PVFT.

SKILLS REQUIRED:
-Experienced cyclist (minimum level intermediate)
-Basic bike repair skills (change flat, fix chain)
-Guide/hospitality/service experience preferred
-Knowledge of and interest in Western Mass
-Knowledge of local food/history/geology a plus

Guides work approximately 7 hours (4 hours of ride time) per event.  Food and beverages are included.  Compensation is per diem
