The Big Surf Dance - Musicians Helping Veterans
The Big Surf Dance is a yearly event held to benefit Homeward Vets. This year’s event is in the iconic Hawks & Reed Performing Center, in the hub of Greenfield’s art district. More than 30 bands from New York, Connecticut, Vermont and Massachusetts will be on hand to help fill three floors with continuous music. Artists will be available to show off their wares and a full Tex-Mex menu will provide some wonderful eats! Craft beers and a vast wine list will also be available to quench your thirst. Local businesses will be donating incredible raffle prizes, and door prizes will be given out randomly. So come early and stay late! This event is only $10 and all ages are welcomed. With live performances by: The Freqs, Reverend Dan and The Dirty Catechism, Donut Kings, The Haunting Titans, The Damaged, Black Absence, Writing In The Skies, Uncomfortables, Graviton, Bomber Motorhead Tribute, Pajama Slave Dancers, Norman Schell, Hanna Holman, Orlen Gabriel & Avery, Rocco, Cantalini 3, Way Farring Souls, Celseìgh, Josh Pearson & Seth Newton, The Equalites, The Dead Heads, HeadBand, Acou Sticca, Larry Dulong, Roadhorse, Esperanto, Bottlefight, 3 Parts Dead and The Prozacs. Homeward Vets is a local nonprofit organization providing free home furnishings to those veterans in need throughout Massachusetts.
