Mohawk Trail State Forest famously features the tallest trees in the entire Northeast! Walk among giants and marvel at magnificent white pines as you learn what makes them both unique and endangered, a foundation of the local ecosystem and a hidden hero of American history. Ages 6 to adult. A gradual uphill hike, about 1.6- miles round-trip. Free to the public. Program starts from Interpretive Nature Center just past park entrance.
