Learn how to see the forest through the lens of forensics, reading the recent and distant past from clues in the landscape. This classic nature hike along the Mahican-Mohawk Trail can be its own experience, or make a great start to a longer park adventure if you choose to continue on your hike, now with deeper understanding and keener perceptive powers. Ages 8 to adult. Walk has a slight slope and is under a mile. Free to the public. Program starts from Interpretive Nature Center just past park entrance.
