Raise Your Voice
Join NELCWIT & GCC during Sexual Assault Awareness Month as we work in community to shed light on both sexual assault and intimate partner violence. There are several components to this event, which include: our annual Clothesline Project display (a powerful visual display of t-shirts created by survivors of sexual assault and intimate partner violence), a short resource sharing informational session during which local agencies will share how they are able to help survivors in our community, a poetry reading, and a survivor speak out. We welcome all survivors/community members regardless of gender identity and presentation, sexual orientation, class, race, and ability to participate in this event. If you would like to read a poem during the event, please submit your poems for approval to Brandon at negronb1428@stuemail.gcc.mass.edu.
