Curious about what goes on at ‘The Fish Lab’? Here is your chance to learn about the incredible migratory fish in the Connecticut River and how USGS scientists are helping restore, protect and conserve them. USGS scientists will answer all your fish questions, including how to build a better fish ladder! The event includes interactive displays, videos, and demonstrations with live fish from the Connecticut River, including sturgeon, trout, lamprey, eels and more. A special exhibit will also feature live salamanders. * Migratory fish are those that swim up and down rivers between freshwater and saltwater.
