North Orange Village Fair
You will find tables with hand made items, homemade baked goods and candy, fresh produce, plants; a gift table and an attic treasures table with tag sale items. There will be a Quilt raffle of a queen sized white, black and gray quilt. The Reid-Nichols trio will sing and play from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM. An “Ice Cream Sundae” table and a Buffet lunch available in the church dining room to take out to eat at tables on the church’s front lawn. The menu is: Hot Dogs, Potato Salad, Baked Beans and Dessert. Each item is $2.00. A yarn spinning demonstration by Joyce Wilson from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM in the park; an Antique Tractor Show which will include a reading for the kids of the children’s book series “Otis” by Reverend Don on the church lawn on the west side of the church from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM. Pottery bowels will be on sale to support the Community Meal program. The Heifer International table is where you can donate your quarters and dollars to provide the means to assist families all over the world with animals and tools towards self-sufficiency. Inside the church at 1 PM there will be a poetry event called “The Poetry of Farming”. Local published poets Candice Curran, BG Thurston and Mark Hart will be the featured readers. There will also be an open mic.
