Rapper Masta Ace performing and emceeing a show of other hip-hop artists, in concert. The line-up includes Western Massachusetts-based The LS Camp (District Epitome, Mike Malik, and DJ Boomer), Springfield, MA-based P.O.E., and Kenyan-born Machakos Kyalo with Other Layers. Masta Ace is a long-time rapper and hip-hop MC from Brooklyn. He made his debut in 1988 on Marley Marl’s “In Control, Vol. 1” LP and then released his first album on Cold Chillin’ Records. He appeared on the classic 1988 Juice Crew posse cut "The Symphony.” He later moved to Delicious Vinyl in 1993 and released two albums before taking a hiatus from the music industry. He came back in 2001 to release the album Disposable Arts and followed up with A Long Hot Summer released on the label he co-owns, M3 Macmil Music.
