Innovations for Rural Living: Finding Solutions to our Food and Transit Challenges will challenge residents, government officials and other community leaders to explore innovative solutions to vexing community problems around food security and transportation. This fourth bi-annual all-day forum is organized by Greening Greenfield, a volunteer non-profit dedicated to sustainability. The forum will invite participants to consider how innovative ideas that have worked in other communities might inspire new responses and resources appropriate to our region. As we move through the 21st century sustainability must include sufficient and adequate transportation and affordable, healthy food for everyone regardless of income.
