Women are traditionally not raised to show anger, instead keeping it bottled up or releasing it through sadness or the silent treatment. What would it look like to invite female and female-identifying artists to unleash their anger through art? The country is going through a time in which emotions are heightened and more and more women are saying "enough!" through actions like the Me Too movement. What else waits within us? During this exhibition of visual art, music, dance and other forms of performance, there will be an invite for femme/female-identifying visitors to confront their own bottled up emotions through a cathartic process of writing or drawing on a shirt (materials provided) art of words that express themselves. Participants will then be invited to have their photo taken so they can be added to a larger community piece made up of these photos.
