Community Concert featuring Johnathan Moore

Música Franklin welcomes Drama Desk-nominated composer and cellist Johnathan Moore to kick-off the 2026-27 Community Concert series! Johnathan, from New Haven, CT, is known for his unorthodox approach to music. He won First Place in the Yale School of Music Solo Competition with an original composition, leading his career to a solo performance in collaboration with New Haven Symphony Orchestra at the Arts & Ideas Festival. His distinctive cello style has been featured at the Guggenheim Museum, Alice Tully Hall, Symphony Space, FSU’s Maggie Allesee National Center for Choreography, and Molière in the Park.

This family-friendly concert will also feature a student performance and community meal.

This program is supported in part by grants from the Crossroads Cultural District and the Greenfield Local Cultural Council, a local agency which is supported by the Mass Cultural Council, a state agency.
