Bubble and Squeak
Celebrate the Halloween season with some fun activities at Hall Tavern! Play old-fashioned games like Tabletop Nine Pins, Jacob’s Ladder, or Nine Men’s Morris in the tap room. Make a jack-o'-lantern-inspired craft to take home. Visit with our hearth cooks and help mix and bake an old recipe for Sugar Cakes. Watch an open-hearth cooking demonstration of the wiggly, squiggly dish known as “Bubble and Squeak,” a recipe that dates back to the 1700s.
