Archaeology Day in Deerfield
Enjoy a guided tour of the Old Burying Groung with Claire Coulson, Education Program Coordinator (11:00 a.m.). Lecture "Marginalized Memory: St. Helena's Archaeological Connection to the Transatlantic Slave Trade," by Dr. Heidi Bauer-Clapp (2:00 p.m.). This will be followed by a close-up of "Eliza Clarkson's Sewing Table: Its Incredible Journey from China to St. Helena to New England," (3:00 p.m.). Part of Archaeology Month.
