Stoke the Fire Within!
Cultivate warmth from within as we join yoga and winter activities in the forested landscape of Northfield Mountain. Relax and warm up with hiking or snowshoeing along the trails as we strengthen our connection to the natural world, exploring the vitality and stillness of the winter woods. Revitalize the senses, clear the mind and balance the body as we draw closer to natures' profound ability to inspire while strengthening wellness. Gentle stretching and outdoor standing poses will be supported by the added stability of boots or snowshoes. Led by Janice Doubleday, certified yoga instructor and avid hiker and Northfield Mountain's Kim Noyes, this new winter program will explore the confluence of two healthy activities in a beautiful outdoor setting. Dress in warm layers that can be shed as we get moving and wear warm, waterproof footwear. Bring water, an open mind and a sense of adventure, poles for hiking and a yoga mat for a quiet, indoor conclusion.
