Shelburne School Days
A brief history of Shelburne schools since 1795 when 8 district schools were started in the area. Moving through changes to schools throughout the town including the founding of Arms Academy in 1880 to the Buckland-Shelburne Regional Elementary School’s opening in 1959.
A Panel discussion with former students will explore their school experience during different generations. Touching on time periods such as the Great Baby Boom and how this affected education in our area.
There will be photos, yearbooks, and other artifacts on display to help satisfy your curiosity. Come bring your own stories to share as well.
