Inside/Out Dance Company In Concert
Inside/Out Dance Company will present its fifth annual concert this March, offering an afternoon of dynamic, thoughtfully crafted concert dance. Rooted in discipline, collaboration, and artistic exploration, the performance reflects the company’s commitment to dance as both a rigorous practice and a powerful expressive art form. This annual concert highlights work developed through sustained rehearsal and creative inquiry. Audiences can expect a diverse program of contemporary ballet and modern works that emphasize ensemble precision, emotional depth, and bold choreographic vision. Inside/Out Dance Company provides dancers with an expanded artistic pathway beyond weekly technique classes, prioritizing process, collaboration, and live performance as essential components of training. The concert represents the culmination of months of focused work—an opportunity for dancers to engage deeply in the creative process and share that work with the community. The program features original choreography by faculty artists Alexis Goguen, Darrian Kiely, Angela Price, and Ingrid Schatz, presented alongside new works created by student choreographers Gwen Bowdridge, Sofia Fredette, Florian Gordon-Halpern, Leighann Gunderman, Noelle Haigh, Katy McGinnis, Charlotte Mundell, Iris Neukirch, Kaylee O'Brien, Olivia Robinson, Vivienne Soucy, Emma Vescovi, Madalyn Vescovi, and Keira Wirth. More than a showcase, this performance affirms the importance of concert dance as a living art form—meant to be experienced in real time, in shared space, between performers and audience.
