Franklin County Bar Association Awards Scholarships
The Franklin County Bar Association is pleased to announce the selection of the 2021 Thomas W. Merrigan Memorial Scholarship recipients.  The scholarships of $1,000 each will be awarded to Daniel Lenois from Greenfield High School and Laney Celli from Mohawk Regional High School.
The scholarships honor Thomas W. Merrigan who was a zealous legal advocate, writer, and believer in the importance of education. The applications were judged on the basis of academic achievement, personal achievement and the quality of their essays. The essay prompt was reflective of the American Bar Association Law Day 2021 theme: The Rule of Law Now. Bar Association Scholarship Committee members are attorneys Jeremy Bucci, Isaac Mass and Kathleen Simanski. Applications are made available each year in January.
