About Us

Memorial Hall Museum is one of America's oldest museums. Its collection of furnishings, paintings, textiles, and Indian artifacts is said to be ''the finest collection of local antiquities in New England.'' Nineteen rooms of art, history, and culture include new 2017 exhibits: ''Astronomy, Geology, and Dino Tracks! Oh my!--Edward and Orra Hitchcock and Early Natural Sciences'' created in conjunction with a forthcoming website (prevew at www.dinotracksdiscovery.org) and ''Contemporary Native Beadwork'' from the collection of Gerry Biron.
