DESCRIPTION:Ona Canoa is a new Western Massachusetts folk trio with a timeless sound. The group is comprised of Chelsie Field (baritone ukulele/ vox)\, Eliza Hollister (flute/ vox)\, and Tess Burdick (guitar/vox). Inspired by impromptu three-part harmonies sang aboard a canoe one summer evening\, the longtime best friends evolved into a band in the fall of 2018. In the short time since this happy accident\, Ona Canoa has already found a dream-come-true success in the local music scene. They have quickly progressed from playing small open-studio performances to sold-out shows at Hawks and Reed\, The Root Cellar\, and Hawks and Reed's Pushkin Gallery\, where they played a headlining show in June 2019. Ona Canoa is celebrating their one-year milestone with their highly anticipated debut EP\, "Good Dream\," set to be released November 16\, 2019 in conjunction with a show at the Shea Theater in Turners Falls\, MA.
