DESCRIPTION:he Scarecrow in the Park Contest is an annual event presented by the Bernardston Kiwanis as a fund-raising effort for the Scholarship Fund. Everyone is invited to enter the contest and create a unique scarecrow to stand in Cushman Park.\n\n\nWe are busy planning Scarecrow 2021\, which will take place on October 16th & 17th\, with a musical kick-off in the big tent on the evening of the 15th. We are looking forward to live music\, artist booths\, delicious food\, children's activities\, the tractor parade\, and being together in one place at one time.\n\n\n\nIf you are an artist\, craftsperson\, or specialty food purveyor who is interested in applying to be a vendor for this event you can e-mail scarecrowinthepark@gmail.com to request an application. The planning committee is jurying via e-mail this year\, so good clear photographs to accompany your application are key.\n\n\n\nThe categories for the Scarecrow in the Park Contest will be Scariest\, Funniest\, Prettiest\, Most Interesting Use of Materials\, and the rotating category will be Science.
