Girls Rising is a nonprofit organization founded by all-female rock group Antigone Rising that inspires young women to harness their potential\, follow their dreams\, and pursue non-traditional career paths. Girls Rising is about empowerment and was created in an effort to demonstrate that strong women exist and have much to contribute to art\, culture\, and the world around them.\n\nPartnering with school districts and youth groups\, Girls Rising outreach programs inspire through live performance\, presentations\, and workshops. The band visits schools\, youth centers\, and community centers to share their story about their experiences and challenges as women in a male-dominated industry and perform songs from their critically acclaimed albums.
