Part of our mission is to have the landscaped areas in downtown Turners Falls be edible\, medicinal\, or otherwise useful\, as well as beautiful! Our first step is to survey the green spaces downtown and create a map of what plants already exist\, and where we could plant more! This map will turn into a free public resource\, with information about what plants are growing\, as well as how to identify them\, harvest them\, and use them. \n\n\n\nWe will gather on Sunday\, March 11th at 1pm at the Great Falls Discovery Center to walk around town together\, using smart phone apps to add data to our collective map. Use of a phone is not required for attendance!
