DESCRIPTION:The Greenfield Public Library and the City of Greenfield are thrilled to welcome the community to celebrate the grand opening of the new Greenfield Public Library on Thursday\, July 13.\n\n\n\nThe festivities kick off at 9:30 a.m. with the Greenfield Military Band\, followed by a ribbon cutting ceremony at 10 a.m. after which the 26\,800 square foot facility will be officially open for a day of discovery and exploration.\n\n\n\nAfter the library is officially open\, join us in the Community Meeting Room for a slice of cake\, sign our guest book\, and begin exploring your new library! The library will remain open with all-day programming until 5 p.m.\, including a special family story time\, arts and crafts activities and demos in the new Makerspace\, Teen Room and Children's Department.\n\n\n\nNot able to join us on Thursday? The library will be open regular hours on Friday\, July 14\, and Saturday\, July 15\, continuing the celebration with special programs\, musical guests\, and more!\n\n\n\nThe grand opening festivities\, generously sponsored by the Friends of the Greenfield Public Library\, are free and open to everyone in our community.
