Join the Apiary Program Team from the Massachusetts Department of Agricultural Resources to get up close and personal with a live working honey bee colony and get information about the MA Apiary Program and honey bee population.\n\n10 am - noon: FREE craft for kids - decorate a pot and take home a bee-friendly plant!\n\n11 am - 3 pm: Visit the Magic Wings Butterfly Conservatory traveling exhibit\n\nEvery hour from 10 am - 4 pm: Live demonstrations in our recreated 1830's shop. Learn about the history of candlemaking using beeswax and antique methods\n\n11:30 am: Ballet workshop with Pioneer Valley Ballet\n\nAll day fun: Bee-facts scavenger hunt\, honey sampling\, handmade beeswax tapers for only $5\, raffle prizes\, and a free seed packet with each purchase!
