Saturday\, August 3 and Sunday\, August 4\, 10 a.m.   5 p.m\, (Great Falls Discovery Center\, 2 Ave. A\, if park is too wet). The Kingfisher Singers\, Hawk Henries\, Joseph and Jesse Bruchac\, Lee "Mixashawn" Rozie\, Kerri Helme with children's activities\, Black Hawk Singers\, Visioning B.E.A.R Circle Intertribal Coalition\, Justin Beatty\, emcee\, and MORE. Special presentations by Evan Pritchard\, Chief Don Stevens and David Brule. Schedule to be announced on website nolumbekaproject.org. Witness the carving of a dugout canoe from a green white pine log with traditional methods of fire carving and scraping by a team from the Aquinnah Wampanoag\, a continual process that will take the entire weekend. Vendors\, educators\, authors\, archaeologists\, ceremonial stones expert\, demonstrations of Northeast Woodlands skills\, Native American food vendor\, etc. Free. Welcoming and interesting for all ages.
