Come to the third meeting (party!) for the local giving group "100 Who Care- Franklin County". We're excited to invite local community members to join us by committing to attending three meetings per year to vote on and donate to local nonprofits. Each member donates $33 or more at each meeting to the organization who wins the groups' vote. This is such a great way to meet more people in your community and learn about local organizations! The first half hour of the event is for registration and socializing\, followed by the hour-long meeting at 6:00 where we listen to three five-minute presentations about local nonprofits. We then vote for which group we'd like to support\, and write checks to the winning group. Signing up ahead of time (and bringing your checkbook to donate to the local cause) is encouraged.
