MHC’s Prevention message has never been more critical 4/2/2020

Dear partners,

As we all know by now, the peak of the COVID-19 pandemic is in front of us. April is certain to be a difficult month and I want you to know the Massachusetts Health Council (MHC) is here connecting our health, business, civic, school and academic partners as deftly as possible to address growing need.
Please see what we are working on and reach out if we can assist your organization in any way. For those of you with middle and high school students, the Video Contest, below, is a great opportunity for young people to use their creativity during this unsettling time - share far and wide.
The Massachusetts Health Council was founded one-hundred years ago to work collaboratively on the tuberculosis epidemic and to assist soldiers returning home from WWI. We’re in this together and right now, MHC’s focus on prevention feels more important than ever. Stay healthy and safe.

  •  MHC Board members, Peter Doliber (YMCA’s)and Tara Gregorio (MA Senior Care) worked together to ensure state policy on childcare was available to critical health care workers.
  • MHC is working with the Harvard T.H Chan School of Public Health to promote their Health and Wellness for All Program; a groundbreaking program aimed at improving the wellbeing of health care workers on the frontlines of the COVID-19 pandemic.
  • Video Contest to engage middle and high school students:
