$10,000 climate action donation in honor of 50th Anniversary of Earth Day

Greenfield, MA – On the 50th Anniversary of Earth Day, local solar company and worker-owned cooperative PV Squared is donating $10,000 to the climate non-profit, 350.org. This donation will support 350.org’s climate action initiatives to aid the transition to 100% renewable energy and stop fossil fuel projects.

"Supporting environmental and social justice organizations has always been part of PV Squared's mission, and it will continue to be so in the future. It's in moments like these that we are reminded of the importance of the work we do and the responsibility we have to share our resources with others," says Jonathan Gregory, General Manager at PV Squared.

"We are so grateful for the trust our clients have in PV Squared's ability to design, build, and service their solar energy systems. It's much more than that though. There is a mutual understanding that our greatest capacity is to serve the community and the causes that make a lasting difference in our collective good. We couldn't make these types of donations without the strong relationships we have with our clients, and for that we are very grateful," continued Gregory.

PV Squared is a local leader in the field of solar design, installation, and maintenance. The worker-owned cooperative provides solar and battery storage solutions to homeowners, business owners, commercial property owners, and farmers in western Massachusetts and surrounding regions.

“Our Chamber membership is one of the important ways that we place value on our relationships with other business owners and with our community. “ Bruce Lessels, Zoar Outdoor
“Chamber membership helps keep my staff in contact with the local business community through their seminars and events.” – Michael Tucker, Greenfield Cooperative Bank
