Job Description
Adult Services Program Coordinator - The United Arc, headquartered in Turners Falls, MA, provides services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in Franklin, Hampshire and Hampden counties and the North Quabbin region of Massachusetts is seeking a dynamic and team-oriented individual to supervise and support activities of direct care staff.  This position is responsible for overall program and well-being of consumers assigned and will channel information to other staff and the program director as well as facilitate communication with outside agencies and providers.  The Community Support Program Coordinator will train new staff, assure that they attend all mandatory trainings and maintain all certifications and will maintain accurate records including, but not limited to, medication, appointments, individual files, petty cash, ISP preparation, contract reports, and overseeing staffs' reports, files, and schedules.  The Coordinator will also maintain financial records using a computerized system, and will provide on-call responsibilities on a schedule determined by the program manager.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience with individuals with disabilities.
  • Prior experience with direct support or case management.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Suite.
  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Acceptable driving record, valid driver’s license and access to an automobile that can be used to transport individuals.
