Job Description
The United Arc, a leading provider of services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families in Franklin, Hampshire and Hampden counties and the North Quabbin region of Massachusetts is seeking a Nurse or Physician to serve on our Human Rights Committee and review medication treatment plans for the committee.
The general responsibility of the committee is to assist The United Arc to affirm, promote, and protect the human and civil rights of individuals served and to monitor and review the activities of The United Arc with regard to the human and civil rights of those individuals.
Committee members attend committee meetings 5 times a year, usually on a Tuesday  evening at 5:00 pm at our administrative offices at 294 Avenue A, Turners Falls, MA.  Meetings are generally about 2 hours.  Committee members are also responsible for assisting in annual site visits which occur in place of the July committee meeting.
